and shaped during the intense touring cycles across Europe, the U.S., and
Australia, The Wilted captures the raw emotions, exhaustion, and rebirth that come
with life on the road.
While Cursed explored the darkness within — the pain, rage, and personal
downfall — The Wilted steps into the aftermath. It’s the sound of something broken
learning to grow again. Each song reflects a stage of decay and renewal,
connected by the same universe that fans came to know through Cursed, but
presented through a more cinematic and introspective lens.
The EP blends the signature heaviness and aggression of Paleface Swiss with
haunting melodies, immersive storytelling, and symbolic imagery. Flowers — once
vibrant, now withering — serve as a metaphor for change and the acceptance of
impermanence. This visual language carries through every aspect of the project,
from its artwork to its videos and stage production.
